WHERE AT
NEW YORK CITY. HAMBURG.
DONE
Last week I was totally in New York Fashion Week mood. This city had occupied me like no other. For that reason I really hope you can forgive me, that I only wrote one blog entry last week. I was super busy with the time difference, New York Fashion Week, shows, events, shootings etc. etc. etc., that I just went straight to bed when we got back to the apartment and I didn’t make it to postings for the blog. But I really want to catch up on that this week. We took a lot of pictures in New York, which I definitely don’t want to keep back.
I want to make a NYC Guide. I often got asked, where are the best hotspots and which are my favorite restaurants, so I’d like to publish those on designdschungel.com. What do you think about it?
On friday we headed back to Hamburg. Our flight was during the night from New York to Dusseldorf and back to Hamburg. With Air Berlin. I was kind of wistful… because it was my last flight with this airline… but everything went smooth 🙂 … some delays here and there… but I don’t wanna complain. I was actually planning to go to a birthday party of an old friend on friday evening, but I’ve been so jet-lagged, that I totally forgot about that. Unfortunately this condition lasts the whole weekend. I was sleeping perceived 12 hours the night and I was still extremely tired during daytime.
On sunday the weather in Hamburg was just bad, that I decided to stay at home:) But I was representing my Limited Edition “Blogger’s Loveys by Designdschungel”, which you can currently buy at DM & Budni. If you’re fast you might can watch it on Insta Stories. I showed you the whole palette with all colors.
I also got worried more and more about the “tagging-madness” again. I’ve been always big on transparence. As you know, I’ve always tagged my posts on the blog and on Instagram, that you know, which of my blog entries are in cooperation with brands and which are not. At some point it was said, that the hashtag “Ad” in cooperation with “xyz” is not good enough anymore, so now I have to tag “advertisement”. So I tagged all of my sponsored posts with “advertisement”. At another point it was said, that bloggers get admonish, who tag brands in their pictures and don’t mark them with “advertisement”, even if the posting is not paid. So I spent hours to tag these posts with “advertisement”, even if I didn’t get paid for it. Now I have to tag postings, when I buy the brands by myself and tag them on the picture or when the brand name is shown too obviously.
As a blogger you can currently run into danger with every picture, where you can see any brand or when it’s just tagged and you don’t mark it in the caption with “advertisement”. Now you guys can’t really know, which posting is paid or not. I actually don’t really know what’s going on with this labeling requirements and I’d like to mark every single post with “advertisement”, because I don’t want to risk a warning letter, when I show a brand or just talk about a brand. And when I don’t say anything about the brands I’m wearing, of course there coming up questions from you, which is absolutely comprehensible. Because I share all of my cooperations with you and I implement all of them, that they’re going to be interesting for you and create added value, I have absolutely no problem with labeling requirements… only that I have to tag everything, even my own bought stuff, with “advertisement”. No one is going to understand this, right? I’m curious, when this law is going to pass and I will keep you updated concerning this matter!
